- Developing and deploying new engineering solutions to increase the reliability and efficiency of PV assets being operated by NOMAC.
- Setting strategic technology wise objectives, aligned with the business to improve overall efficiency, reliability, and net profit.
- Explore technological advances and opportunities for deployment / testing within fleet, to improve bottom line performance.
- Establishing competence mapping (internally and externally) through working groups to quickly connect the right people to the problems across the business.
- Provide oversight, advisory, diagnosis, root cause analysis, supporting Predictive Analytics and Diagnostics solution while proposing existing or new solutions.
- Support consistent design review practices for new projects and technology deployment. Identification of key focus QA/QC protocols for follow up during manufacturing and commissioning phases.
- Developing of lessons learnt based on fleet experience and follow through with process correction with focus on integration to RoS, vendor qualification, OTS, and/or operational preventive actions.
- Act as lead in technological area for the RoS implementation within the OM realm, including expert (or seeking expert support) for the validation of initiatives.
- Assist ED to develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the organization, leveraging existing frameworks and standards (EPRI,ASME,API etc)
- Having in-depth technical knowledge on the Operations and Maintenance of MV/HV equipment like transformers, cables, switchgears etc.
- Understand the testing practices based on applicable standards and best industrial practices
- Able to interpret the test results of transformers, cables, switchgears and other relevant equipment.
- Able to prepare asset management strategy for HV/MV equipment of the whole fleet
- Ensure the implementation of departmental policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of departmental activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
- Identify opportunities of improvement and contribute to organizational and departmental change initiatives, programs and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment.
- Classification and identification of technology advances within technology area,, identification of potential areas of deployment and business cases supporting implementation
- Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in the field with high focus on equipment reliability.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical equipment. Testing of electrical equipment OR PV plant experience with in-depth knowledge of Electrical equipment.
