Senior Accountant

• Review and verify all the finance-related requests and the supporting documents.

• Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

• Ensure postings of all transactions in the accounting system in time.

• Complete monthly, quarterly and annual closing in a timely fashion.

• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information and budget.

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.

• Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.

• Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.

• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

• Complies with financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.

• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets, financial forecasts and investment analysis.

• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, and auditing.

• Proven minimum 3-year work experience as accountant or similar role in this region.

• In-dept understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• CPA/ACCA qualification
