We're currently partnered with a regional leader within the payment space.Dedicated to serving clients, they offer an advanced payments platform that leverages data monetization, employing cutting-edge technology to enhance user experiences and operational efficiency.The brand embodies dynamism and promise, poised to revolutionize the realm of payments by turning them into opportunities.With its vast expertise and strategic alliances, the brand draws in global partners, setting a fresh standard for innovation and outstanding service in the payments sector.The Solution Architect will oversee the design of technical solutions for business needs, focusing on application and integration strategies. They will ensure alignment with the IT Strategy and business objectives. Utilizing expertise in architecture best practices and application platform technologies, they will thoroughly document the businesses current holistic application architecture and guide the design and implementation of the desired future state.Responsibilities:

Develop solution architecture artifacts in line with established architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices, aiming for robust and scalable cloud-based solutions.

Collaborate with subject matter experts from various domains and developers to ensure that software builds satisfy system, functional, and performance criteria while adhering to company policies, including those related to security and privacy.

Revise and enhance the Payment Services platform of the company through thoughtful design and refactoring efforts.

Execute Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Value (POV) exercises on prospective solutions with a mindset geared towards rapid iteration and learning to propel progress towards the desired target state.

Engineer comprehensive end-to-end Payment systems at a large scale, leveraging hands-on expertise throughout the architectural process.

Key Skills:

Extensive expertise in digital payment solutions.

Proficiency in Authorization, Clearing, and Settlement Systems, as well as Merchant Onboarding, Payout applications, and Cardholder (Issuing) Processing. Acquiring and Payments.

Comprehensive understanding of card payments including issuers, acquirers, card schemes, interchange, cardholder authentication, and related processes.

Familiarity with payment switching, routing, cryptographic techniques, PIN operations, and contact/contactless protocols.

Knowledge of emerging payment technologies such as Open Banking, new payment rails, digital payments, alternative payment channels like wallets and smart Points of Sale, real-time cross-border transactions, blockchain-enabled crypto payments, central bank digital currencies, data analytics in payments, and evolving trends in financial crime prevention.
