- Ensuring the Group's regulated entities in the region comply with all applicable laws and regulations and that the policies, procedures and compliance monitoring frameworks meet both local and international best practice
- Managing and supporting the various compliance officers/professionals in the region
- Helping lead relationships with the various regulators in the region including coordinating and overseeing written submissions, preparing for and managing regulatory exams/reviews and advising and updating senior management on the same
- Liaising with local regulatory authorities in the region in relation to compliance and other legal matters as they relate to the Group
- Working closely with and in close coordination with the Compliance in Asia, Europe, and the US
- Advising on regulatory related matters/considerations affecting the businesses and advising senior management and/or Board committees (from time to time) on the implications for the Group's business of developments arising from current and/or proposed new regulation
