Job descriptionJob Role: Sales Executive/Business Development Executive (Freight Forwarding)Job Location: Abu DhabiAs a Sales Executive/Business Development Executive for a freight and forwarding company, your primary responsibility is to generate new business for the company by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients.Job Responsibility:
  • Identifying potential clients: You will be responsible for researching and identifying potential clients, including manufacturers, importers, exporters, and logistics companies. You will need to develop a deep understanding of their business needs and how your company's services can meet those needs.
  • Generating leads and making sales: You will be responsible for generating leads and making sales through a variety of channels, including cold calling, email marketing, networking, and attending industry events. You will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills to convince clients to use your company's services.
  • Building relationships with clients: You will be responsible for building and
  • maintaining strong relationships with clients. This will involve regular communication, providing exceptional customer service, and responding to inquiries and concerns.
  • Providing quotations and proposals: You will be responsible for providing clients with quotations and proposals that outline the services and costs associated with freight and forwarding. You will need to have a good understanding of the company's pricing structure and be able to negotiate effectively with clients.
  • Collaborating with other departments: You will need to collaborate with other departments within the company, such as operations and finance, to ensure that client needs are met and that services are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends: You will need to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in the freight and forwarding sector. This will involve attending conferences and trade shows, reading industry publications, and networking with industry experts.
Overall, as a Sales Executive/Business Development Executive for a freight and forwarding company, you will play a key role in generating new business for the company and ensuring that clients receive exceptional service.Requirements: * Proven 3 to 5 years Sales experience within the Shipping and Logistics industry in Abu Dhabi.
  • Has a good knowledge of Container/ Consolidation/ freight forwarding/ logistics.
  • Has an existing list of potential contacts or leads.
  • Demonstrated results – performance, leadership and organizational wise.
  • Leverages internal and external relationships to expand business opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or any similar field.
  • Sales revenue driven
  • Has the ability to integrate well into teams & work towards achieving team sales results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and shipping management software systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • English speaking is a must, Arabic is a plus.
  • Strong media, presentation and computer skills.
