Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, and other textiles according to established procedures and standards.
Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
Inspect linens for stains, tears, and other damage, and treat stains or send damaged items for repair or replacement.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of linens, towels, and cleaning supplies, and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
Follow proper handling and storage procedures for clean and soiled linens to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene.
Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the laundry room, including cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage areas.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing protective equipment and using cleaning chemicals properly.
Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned by the Laundry Supervisor or management team.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external guests, addressing inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in laundry operations or a similar role preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.Benefits:
