- Act as the primary advisor for all safety health and environment matters across projects
- Develop and implement SH&E strategies aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Lead investigations into incidents, near-misses, and safety violations with corrective actions
- Integrate SH&E best practices into project execution and operational workflows
- Supervise and mentor junior HSE staff, ensuring high performance and development
- Monitor compliance with UAE and international safety standards including ISO frameworks
- Design and deliver safety training programs across teams and project sites
- Prepare detailed safety reports, dashboards, and recommendations for senior management
- Manage emergency response planning and crisis management procedures
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the organization in safety matters
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SH&E roles with leadership exposure
- Strong experience in roads and infrastructure projects
- In-depth knowledge of UAE safety regulations and international standards
- Proven ability to develop and manage safety programs effectively
- Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Ability to lead teams and drive safety culture across projects
