We are partnering with a leading JCI-accredited, multispecialty healthcare group in Dubai seeking a highly skilled Consultant / Specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) to join their expanding rehabilitation and pain management division. This role offers a career-defining opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art facility, delivering advanced rehabilitation care to a diverse international patient population while contributing to integrated, multidisciplinary treatment pathways.Role OverviewAs a Consultant/ Specialist Physiatrist in Dubai, you will lead comprehensive rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring function, improving quality of life, and optimizing recovery for patients with acute and chronic physical impairments.Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional impairments
  • Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs for conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, and sports injuries
  • Perform interventional procedures including joint injections, nerve blocks, and ultrasound-guided treatments
  • Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and pain specialists for multidisciplinary care
  • Monitor patient progress, functional outcomes, and adjust rehabilitation plans accordingly
  • Provide post-operative rehabilitation guidance in coordination with orthopedic and neurosurgical teams
  • Lead pain management strategies including non-surgical and minimally invasive approaches
  • Educate patients and families on recovery pathways, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DHA and international healthcare standards
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous medical education
Eligibility & Board RecognitionWe are seeking Board Certified PM&R Specialists / Consultants from globally recognised systems:
  • American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (ABPMR)
  • UK CCT / GMC Specialist Register
  • European Board Certification
  • Canadian / Australian Fellowship
  • Arab Board / FCPS / MD PM&R
  • Minimum 3–5+ years post-board experience preferred
  • DHA License eligibility or active license is an advantage
