Job DescriptionWould you like to join GEMS Royal Dubai School on our exciting journey as we expand? We are a Premium British school, with 850 students (currently FS1 – Year 6) from over 68 nationalities and re-accredited as a World-Class High-Performance Learning School.In our exciting new structure, we are looking for skilled, ambitious UK trained teachers with experience of working in an outstanding setting to initially teach across Upper KS2 and into KS3.If you are driven, excited about children’s learning, and want to be part of our high performing team, this is an opportunity for you to make a difference and drive the #RoyalStandard.We are looking for outstanding teachers who are either secondary trained or hold a primary teaching qualification with the relevant subject degree.The successful candidate will have proven success in driving standards and be committed to the pursuit of excellence for all.Job Purpose:To teach across Upper Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 as a subject specialist enabling an outstanding, holistic, and dynamic experience for our students which lead to exceptionally high outcomes.SkillsKey Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Be committed to the pursuit of excellence for all
Demonstrate very strong subject knowledge across Key Stage 2 or 3 in the NCfE
Hold a BEd or Bachelors Degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
Deliver consistently outstanding teaching and learning experiences; collaborating and sharing best practice.
Use student data to optimise progress and personalise learning
Have a High Performance Mindset, being reflective and solution focused at all times
Be creative and enthusiastic in approach to teaching
Be committed to the safeguarding of, and the personal and social development of students
Work effectively with colleagues, students and parents using excellent interpersonal skills
Have aspiration to work in a World-Class school with real prospects for career enhancement
Make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community based events
Actively pursue your own professional development as a teacher.
To carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the CEO and Principal.
