- Develop sustainability frameworks and strategies aligned with Estidama Pearl Rating System and other green building certification standards.
- Integrate sustainability principles throughout project lifecycle from design development to construction and operational phases.
- Ensure compliance with Estidama requirements and coordinate certification processes to achieve targeted Pearl ratings.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities to secure sustainability approvals and environmental certifications.
- Review architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical design packages to verify compliance with sustainability requirements.
- Provide technical recommendations to optimize energy efficiency, water conservation, and sustainable material usage.
- Coordinate with design consultants and engineering teams to implement sustainable building solutions.
- Develop water conservation strategies including efficient fixtures, irrigation systems, and greywater recycling programs.
- Implement construction waste management strategies to reduce waste generation and maximize recycling practices.
- Oversee sustainable site practices including erosion control, biodiversity preservation, and environmentally responsible landscaping.
- Monitor environmental impacts from construction activities including air quality, noise levels, and water pollution risks.
- Track sustainability performance indicators related to energy consumption, water usage, waste management, and carbon emissions.
- Serve as the primary contact for sustainability matters with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct sustainability awareness programs and training sessions for project teams and contractors.
- Research emerging sustainability technologies and recommend improvements to environmental performance practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Architecture, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sustainability engineering and green building project implementation.
- Extensive experience delivering projects achieving Estidama Pearl Rating or equivalent sustainability certifications.
- Strong knowledge of sustainability principles including energy modeling, water conservation systems, and sustainable materials.
- Familiarity with international sustainability frameworks including LEED, BREEAM, and environmental regulatory requirements.
- Ability to conduct performance analysis including life cycle assessments and carbon footprint evaluation.
- Sustainability engineering and green building certification expertise.
- Knowledge of Estidama Pearl Rating System and environmental compliance standards.
- Energy efficiency analysis and environmental performance monitoring.
- Experience using sustainability analysis tools such as IES-VE, EnergyPlus, or DesignBuilder.
