Senior Electrical Engineer - HVDC and HVAC Platforms - DP World - Dubai, UAE

• Assume full responsibility for assigned electrical engineering scopes related to auxiliary electrical systems of HVDC and HVAC platforms
• Deliver electrical engineering work within multidisciplinary project teams supporting renewable energy field developments
• Plan, budget, organize, and control electrical engineering deliverables for assigned project segments
• Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables across all project phases
• Liaise with HVDC and HVAC technology partners and key vendors
• Coordinate and manage engineering subcontractors to ensure scope, quality, and schedule compliance
• Ensure all electrical engineering work meets quality standards and project timelines
• Provide technical direction and resolve electrical engineering queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Interface with client engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure alignment throughout project execution
• Promote and enforce safe working practices at all times
• Provide technical solutions to complex electrical engineering challenges
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines during design, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up phases
• Assist in coordinating all activities related to electrical engineering design delivery
• Identify risks related to progress or quality and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, DNV, BV, and other applicable international standards and classification rules

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum fifteen years of relevant experience within design offices or EPC environments for offshore HVDC and HVAC platforms
• At least six years of experience within an engineering design consultancy
• Proven experience on major offshore HVAC, HVDC, and process platform projects
• Strong technical background in auxiliary electrical systems and offshore electrical design
• Ability to lead engineering scopes in complex, high-value projects

• Electrical engineering design for HVDC and HVAC platforms
• Offshore renewable energy and power infrastructure projects
• IEC and IEEE standards compliance
• Knowledge of DNV, BV, and classification society requirements
• Use of engineering software including ETAP and AGi32
• ERP, EDMS, and MS Office proficiency
