  • Lead client engagements related to credit risk modeling, IFRS 9 ECL methodology, and regulatory compliance
  • Develop, validate, and implement credit risk models including PD, LGD, and EAD frameworks
  • Provide advisory support on risk rating methodologies, underwriting processes, and risk management policies
  • Advise on allowance for credit losses, pricing models, and credit risk reporting in line with CECL and IFRS 9
  • Work with Deloitte teams across Financial Advisory, Consulting, and Tax to deliver multi-disciplinary projects
  • Prepare proposals, build marketplace relationships, and identify business growth opportunities
  • Manage audits related to credit risk processes and liaise with auditors for effective outcomes
  • Mentor and supervise staff at all levels, providing training, performance reviews, and professional guidance
  • Stay informed on industry trends and propose innovative solutions to clients
Candidate Profile
  • CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in public accounting or credit risk advisory, with 4+ years in team management
  • Strong technical expertise in IFRS, ECL modeling, and credit risk analytics
  • Knowledge of credit risk tools and systems such as Moody's, S&P, or nCino
  • Experience with commercial and retail credit risk regulatory guidance, CECL frameworks, and impairment models
  • Strong project management, documentation, and report-writing skills
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
