The Procurement Manager for MEP is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for MEP works on building projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement procurement strategies for MEP materials and equipment.
Identify and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
Prepare purchase orders and procurement documentation.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain supplier relationships.
Coordinate with project teams to forecast material requirements.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and standards.
Track procurement metrics and manage procurement risks.Qualifications & Experience:Candidates must hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Business Administration.
Proven experience in procurement within the UAE building/construction industry, especially MEP procurement.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of local market conditions and suppliers.
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
