- Strong expertise in child growth, development, and neurodevelopmental disorders
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and manage developmental and behavioral conditions
- Experience with conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and developmental delays
- Strong clinical observation and assessment skills
- Excellent communication skills with children and families
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatrics
- Subspecialty training or certification in Developmental Pediatrics
- Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai
- Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
The Developmental Pediatrician will play a central role in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of children aged 2-18 with developmental, behavioral, emotional, and neurodevelopmental needs. This includes children with suspected or confirmed autism, ADHD, developmental delays, social communication challenges, sensory concerns, emotional regulation issues, learning difficulties, and related pediatric developmental conditions. The role requires a clinician who can combine diagnostic rigor with practical family guidance and who can work effectively alongside therapists, psychologists, and other pediatric specialists in a coordinated child-development model.Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments and screenings
- Diagnose and manage developmental and behavioral conditions
- Develop individualized care and intervention plans
- Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and educators to ensure integrated care
- Provide guidance and counseling to families on child development and management strategies
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in developmental pediatrics
