Responsibilities:Identification of potential trade lanes in the different sectors, subsequently, onboarding new customers to Client.Leading, supporting, and monitoring the performance of the sales force within a defined field of responsibility.Managing and developing Dubai station for sales and business development.Route management and development of defined markets.Managing, developing, and overseeing global agent’s relationships for defined markets strengthening the trade lane.Achieving and improving sales targets and building relations with the customers.Identify new opportunities from the market for value additions offered by the productActive role in understanding customers’ logistics plans, gaining customer and sales alignment, and implementing the plans along with cross-functional teams to deliver team results.Manage negotiation terms, implementation, and compliance as necessary, improve and align intercompany processes.Identify/implement actions towards the achievement of cost, speed, and sustainability targets.Discover and identify new channels as defined in the annual strategy, negotiate contracts, and test and build new accounts as needed.Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated.Drive for results and sustainable success within specified geography/corridor/customer cluster across the country and across borders by building long-term understanding with key customers and creating joint value with key stakeholdersRequired Skills3+ years of experience in freight business specializing in inbound/outbound export of different commoditiesMinimum 2 years' experience in the current organizationThe candidate should have a minimum Gross Profit (GP) contribution equivalent to at least 3 times their salaryMust be fluent in local language and should have local connectionsDemonstrated Commercial acumen in Solution Design, Product Portfolio, and Strategic MindsetGood knowledge of Tender and RFQ Management Ability to identify customer pain points using Qualitative and quantitative data.Excellent management and communications skills
