Job DescriptionWe are seeking an inspirational and forward-thinking Primary Director to join our school from August 2026. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic school leader with strong middle-leadership experience and a proven track record of driving excellence in teaching, learning, and student wellbeing.This role is suited for a strategic thinker who is passionate about innovation and committed to shaping outstanding primary education.Key Responsibilities

Provide visionary leadership across the Primary School.
Drive academic excellence, high-quality teaching, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead curriculum development, assessment, and instructional standards.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing pastoral environment.
Collaborate closely with senior leaders, teachers, and the wider school community.
Champion innovation and digital transformation, including AI integration to enhance learning and operations.
Strengthen student wellbeing, safeguarding practices, and positive behaviour systems.

SkillsRequired Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree with full teaching qualifications (e.g., BEd, PGCE, QTS).
Recognized teaching qualification.
Minimum of 3–5 years of proven middle-leadership experience in a reputable school.
Demonstrated success in raising standards and leading teams.
Strong understanding of primary curriculum frameworks.
Excellent communication, organisational, and people-management skills.

Desirable ExpertiseWe strongly welcome candidates with additional experience in:

Use of AI in education
Pastoral leadership / wellbeing initiatives
Change management and school improvement
