  • Oversee implementation of approved electrical construction documents and specifications on site
  • Supervise and coordinate teams of electrical inspectors to maintain high quality and compliance standards
  • Review contract documents, codes and standards to ensure electrical works align with project requirements
  • Interpret and clarify technical specifications for contractors to support accurate execution
  • Conduct audits of inspections and contractor submissions to verify conformity with approved plans
  • Issue non-conformance reports for electrical violations and monitor corrective actions
  • Liaise with design engineers regarding modifications or technical clarifications during construction
  • Maintain comprehensive records including progress reports, material logs and change documentation
  • Attend coordination and progress meetings to resolve site discrepancies and technical issues
  • Support the Resident Engineer and Project Lead with expert electrical guidance
  • Monitor health and safety practices related to electrical installations and stop unsafe works when required
Ideal Profile
  • UAE National holding a valid Family Book in line with Emiratisation requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, postgraduate qualification preferred
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in electrical design and supervision of large-scale building projects in the Middle East
  • Strong background in high-rise residential and commercial developments
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering systems, installation methodologies and authority regulations in Abu Dhabi
  • Membership of a recognized professional institution preferred, LEED certification considered an advantage
  • Proven leadership skills in managing inspection teams and coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders
