Job Title: Storekeeper / Assistant StorekeeperJob SummaryWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper / Assistant Storekeeper to manage inventory, maintain stock records, and ensure efficient storage and distribution of goods. The ideal candidate will support smooth warehouse/store operations and maintain accurate inventory control.Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and goods
  • Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems
  • Organize and store items in an orderly and accessible manner
  • Issue materials as per approved requests
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and audits
  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and documentation of items
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store/warehouse
  • Coordinate with procurement and other departments
  • Assist in loading and unloading goods
Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper, Assistant Storekeeper, or similar role
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control
  • Familiarity with storekeeping software and MS Excel
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle physical work when required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in warehouse or logistics operations
  • Knowledge of inventory systems (ERP, SAP, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of safety and storage procedures
