- Conduct detailed review of high-risk customer onboarding documentation in line with internal policies
- Perform name screening using internal blacklist systems, watchlists and public domain searches
- Identify and escalate adverse information related to customers and associated parties
- Ensure Politically Exposed Persons PEP accounts are reviewed with enhanced due diligence standards
- Highlight potential risks to business teams and provide structured risk explanations when required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date MIS records related to high-risk accounts
- Ensure compliance with customer onboarding policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain proper audit trails and documentation for all reviews conducted
- Perform annual reviews of PEP relationships and assess ongoing risk exposure
- Support compliance projects, remediation initiatives and data cleanup exercises
- Coordinate with internal departments to maintain service level agreements and performance reporting
- Assist in preparing agenda items and documentation for compliance and audit meetings
- 2-3 years of experience in the banking industry
- Working knowledge of KYC, AML and sanctions screening frameworks
- Understanding of banking operations and core product knowledge
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and internal control standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret risk indicators and escalate appropriately
