- Continuous improvement of QHSE programs and risk management to minimize risks and hazards.
- Provide training on hazards, risk control, QHSE practices, accident management and reporting procedures when required to promote the QHSE culture within the company.
- Obtain proposed changes related to QHSE aspects by Liaising with SRRPD.
- Develop and update corrective and preventive action plans with proper root cause analysis.
- Develop, implement and ensure compliance with the company's QHSE strategies, plans, polices, standards, procedures through applying international best practices.
- Supervise and undertake independent investigation of railway accidents and other safety incident events and make recommendations to improve safety and prevent further occurrences.
- Conduct QHSE internal audit and inspection, and ensure compliance with the company's QHSE. Planned audits and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure that all departments investigate and report accident/incident and recommend Proactive solutions to reduce the frequency and severity of accidents based on accident data and in compliance with QHSE standards and procedures
- Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering: Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Industrial/ Mechatronics from a recognized university, Master preferred, with rail experience.

- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) requirements, of the requirements for the use of personal protective equipment for chemical hazards, requirements for hazardous substances, and the impact of hazardous waste operations on worker safety and health;
- Knowledge of principles, concepts, and requirements of environmental risk assessment;
