HELICOPTER MECHANICS
2ND LINE SERVICING (LINE MAINTENANCE)
UH - 60L "BLACK HAWK"JOB ROLE
Scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks. Checks, diagnostics, repair, modifications - working to company service manuals.
Reports directly to the Supervisor for all aspects of aircraft, facility, tool and equipment, and administrative requirements.QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualification:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or industry equivalent.
High School Diploma / Graduation military or commercial aircraft maintenance or airframe repair school or course preferred.
Training Certificates / Course Certificates - UH 60EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 6 Years Aviation Maintenance
Minimum of 3 Years Mechanic on aircraft type.
Must have thorough knowledge in the use of common tools, special tools, test
equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in performing maintenance
on the relevant aircraft.LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to read, write and understand English.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the maintenance supervisor to accomplish the company's mission.
- Performs inspection, servicing, and repair of aircraft and equipment IAW
applicable technical publications and local policies and procedures. Assists in
ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.
- Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner (advice
support and OJT training) to permit assimilation of the customer's trainees; the final aim being to enable the customer's technicians to attain gradual full capacity to carry out maintenance.
- Completes all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance
activities IAW DA PAM 738-751, applicable technical publications, and local policies and procedures.
- May be requested to perform rated and/or non-rated crew member duties to
facilitate completion of maintenance activities such as Maintenance Test Flights,
- Maintenance Operational Checks, and operation of diagnostic equipment during
ground and/or flight (subject to completion of a flight physical).
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead.OTHER FACTORS
Must be willing to travel in support of the company's operational requirements. Knowledge of computer applications.
Basic use of MS Office suite and applications (Word - Excel - Power Point-Project) Outlook, Adobe and the internet
These are permanent roles, but essentially a 2 year (24 MONTH) contracts initially with the option to review after this period.
24 hour shift pattern comprising of 8 hour shifts - Mixture of days and nights
Roles will be based at various military sites throughout Abu DhabiBENEFITS
- Superb, UAE pay structure - dependant upon skill level with aircraft. Paid monthly in AED (Arab Emirates Derham) Rates upon application - albeit - end rate dependant on successful interview.
- Flights out paid for- up to 2 adults and 3 children (paid out for employee at the start and the rest of the family after employee completes probation period)
- Hotel paid for 2 weeks upon arrival (can be extended on a case by case if necessary)
- 15,000 AED shipping allowance (paid upon completion of probation period which is 6 months)
- Housing allowance advance deductible from pay each month
- 30 days annual leave plus 12 public holidays
- Education allowance of 20,000 - 30,000 AED per child, up to 3 children, between ages 3- 19
- Medical insurance including optical and dental for 2 adults and 3 children
