The Middle East finance function is structured to support the business across its regional offices and includes a Head of Finance, Accounts Manager, Revenue Controller, Credit Controller, Senior Accounts Payable Officer, and an Accounts Payable Officer.The Accounts Assistant will form part of this collaborative team and will be based in the Dubai office.Role Summary - AccountsAssistant
This entry-level role will provide essential support to the Senior Accounts Payable Officer across a range of operational finance responsibilities, with a particular focus on accounts payable and cash handling. It offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop hands-on experience in a professional services environment.Key Responsibilities:Processing accounts payable vouchers in the firm's financial systemInitiating and recording online paymentsPerforming supplier account reconciliationsManaging petty cash, including reconciliations and related postingsRecording daily cash receiptsSupporting both internal and external audit processesIdentifying and contributing to process improvement and automation initiativesEnsuring adherence to internal controls and contributing to financial governanceAssisting with additional finance-related tasks as requiredCandidate Profile:Recent university graduate, ideally in finance, accounting, or a related fieldStrong working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelSelf-motivated and proactive team playerStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Excellent organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritise workload and manage time effectivelyConfident and eager to learn in a fast-paced, professional settingFOR MORE INFORMATIONCONTACT Lucy Vincent
