- 5+ years of related Business Development / Sales experience.
- Should have detailed knowledge of the entire domain considering the logistics industry.
- Heavy lifts, cross border transportation, project cargo movements experience is a must.
- Must have good connections with trucking suppliers.
- Proven ability in creating new business and client relationships.
- Excellent organization, planning, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- A self-starter, able to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree, candidates with same in Business Management will be preferred.
- Develop new business for the company through approaching new business customers as defined in sales KPI’s.
- Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is planned.
- Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Operations and Contract Logistics team.
- Focus on winning and keeping profitable business.
- Represents the company and its policies to the clients which are defined as “Strategic Accounts”.
- Develop SOPs for strategic accounts in association with Client & Operations Manager.IT
- Establish and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients and suppliers.
- Develop commercial awareness and identify market conditions to build growth areas.
- Track and report on sales and business development performance and progress.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
