The Assistant Accountant / Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the organization by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role involves data entry, reconciliation, and assisting in financial analysis to support decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update financial records and transactions accurately.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Monitor and track expenses and budget allocations.
Use accounting software to record and manage financial data.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information as needed.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
