The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for civil construction projects, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with client requirements.🛠 Key Responsibilities:1. Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare cost estimates.2. Conduct quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and rate build-ups.3. Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions.4. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and verify pricing.5. Analyze risks, value engineering, and cost-saving opportunities.6. Support project managers and commercial team in negotiations and pre-contract meetings.7. Maintain updated cost databases, unit rates, and historical pricing records.🎓 Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Estimator, preferably in the UAE/GCC.- Strong knowledge of pre-contract estimation, BOQ preparation, and tendering processes.- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
