- Oversee the coordination and execution of technology projects across the division.
- Act as a focal point and escalation contact for business users throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Provide expert guidance and support to project managers on project management methodologies and tools.
- Enforce adherence to ADGM Technology PMO standards and best practices.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between business units and Technology Services.
- Support portfolio-level reporting and analysis to ensure strategic alignment and value delivery.
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to apply AI and emerging technologies to improve project outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
- Participate in project decisions, technology evaluations, and risk assessments; prioritize competing business demands.
- Set up knowledge transfer opportunities within the team.
- Establish frameworks and standards for the Technology PMO.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Define project scope and objectives with internal stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure resource availability and effective allocation.
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress. Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure performance using project management tools and techniques.
- Escalate issues to management as needed.
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize potential project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Meet with stakeholders to clarify project requirements and expectations.
- Track project performance and analyse completion of short- and long-term goals.
- Monitor and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Maintain transparency by ensuring timely and accurate information sharing with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a repository of templates, best practices, and lessons learned.
- Streamline processes to improve team efficiency and quality of delivery.
- Facilitate internal approvals, reviews, and conflict resolution.
- Manage project artifacts and knowledge assets.
- Oversee the complete project lifecycle using the ADGM PMO framework.
- Plan project activities, analyse financials, and ensure cross-departmental alignment.
- Document business requirements and user journeys using best practices.
- Liaise with technical teams to articulate and translate business requirements.
- Promote the adoption of AI tools and data-driven decision-making in project planning and execution.
- Evaluate and pilot innovative solutions that align with strategic goals and enhance project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Project, Product management, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Experience working on Agile projects and familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile project management approaches.
- Experience in writing PMO templates and frameworks using industry standards and best practices.
- Solid understanding of PMO principles, practices, and governance methods.
- Exposure to AI technologies and innovation management is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently present to large groups.
- Fluent in business English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency with project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive business requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to engage both technical teams (e.g., developers) and business stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
