The Surveyor - Road Infrastructure is responsible for executing and verifying survey operations across construction sites, ensuring all works align with approved drawings and specifications. The role contributes to precise project execution by maintaining control points, verifying levels, and supporting layout activities.Key Responsibilities
- Perform survey work under guidance of senior survey leadership on infrastructure projects
- Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control points with accurate reference ties
- Record measurements, calculations, and survey data clearly in field documentation
- Conduct pre-construction surveys to validate site conditions and identify constraints
- Support construction layout and setting out for roads, drainage, utilities, and related works
- Verify contractor alignment, grading, and levels against approved design drawings
- Coordinate with contractor survey teams and Resident Engineer to resolve discrepancies
- Perform traverse checks and benchmark validations to ensure survey accuracy
- Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure precision in measurements
- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and maintain survey reports and records
- Utilize GPS, total stations, and survey software for accurate field measurements
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all survey operations
- Proven experience in land surveying for road and infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with UAE authority standards such as RTA and Dubai Municipality
- Experience in setting out and verifying civil works including utilities and pavements
- Ability to operate modern survey instruments and software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced construction environments
