Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Develop detailed designs
- Conduct feasibility assessments and site inspections
- Prepare and implement project plans
- Research and provide estimates for projects
- Review government regulations and ordinances
- Monitor and optimise safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance
- Recommend or present alternative solutions to problems
- Liaise confidently with clients and professional subcontractors
- Manage project duties such as budgets, resources, deadlines, and compiling quotes
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the reporting manager
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 8-10 years experience as a professional engineer
- Familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation
- Knowledge of map-creation software and photo-imaging software
- Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design
- Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met
- Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time
