  • Drive departmental revenue targets while maintaining disciplined risk selection and profitability
  • Manage relationships with key regional and international insurance brokers and strategic clients
  • Act as senior contact for complex accounts requiring executive level engagement
  • Support client retention and account growth through strong technical expertise and market insight
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical direction to the property underwriting team
  • Align underwriting team objectives with corporate strategy and departmental performance targets
  • Implement improvements in underwriting processes, operational efficiency, and risk governance
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory frameworks, and reinsurance requirements
  • Present complex underwriting cases for senior management approval when required
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in insurance, risk management, engineering, finance, or business administration
  • Professional insurance certifications or qualifications are highly desirable
  • Extensive experience in property or fire underwriting within UAE or regional insurance markets
  • Strong knowledge of large commercial and industrial insurance risks
  • Proven leadership capability in managing underwriting teams and strategic client relationships
