KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Controls end-to-end repair cycle management for aircraft components and tools/equipment to ensure timely processing of repair orders and efficient management of the repair cycle.
- Executes and monitors repair order processing, including creation, tracking, and closure of repair transactions in accordance with company procedures and contractual terms.
- Reviews, challenges and negotiates repair quotations and repair work scopes to ensure alignment with approved maintenance data, contractual conditions, and cost control requirements.
- Reviews and validates repair invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with approved quotations, contractual terms, and agreed repair work scopes.
- Monitors vendor performance (costs, TAT, quality, reliability) and highlight deviations for corrective action.
- Escalates repair delays, technical issues, or vendor performance concerns to ensure minimal operational impact.
- Maintains repair documentation, including quotations, repair reports, certifications, and release documentation, to ensure compliance with regulatory and airworthiness requirements.
- Coordinates with the Components Operations team on loan and exchange transactions to ensure the timely return of removed units and the proper closure of transactions in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinates with the Components Operations team and pool providers to ensure component availability and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Maintains accurate repair records, status tracking, and system updates within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and maintenance systems.
- Coordinates with Engineering & Maintenance teams to ensure alignment between repair activities and operational component requirements.
- Performs warranty claim processing and supplier recovery activities in accordance with supplier agreements and company procedures.
- Analyses repair data (cost, TAT, vendor performance, reliability trends) to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities and prepare performance reports.
- Supports internal and external audits by ensuring the availability and accuracy of repair documentation and compliance records.
- Identifies and drives continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives to enhance repair administration efficiency, reduce repair costs, and improve component recovery performance.
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Fluent in English
- Experience in aviation component repair administration, repair order management, vendor coordination, and component support programmes, including repair, loan, exchange, and pool management within an airline, MRO, or aviation-related organisation.
- Knowledge of aviation ERP or maintenance systems such as AMOS, TRAX, or equivalent, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory planning tools.
- Years with qualifications: 5 - 7 years
- Relevant aviation or supply chain certifications are an advantage.
