As a Field Service Technician, you will be the frontline technical expert, primarily tasked with commissioning new equipment, conducting repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our client's advanced machinery systems.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough troubleshooting, testing, repair, and commissioning of a wide range of industrial package equipment, ensuring their peak performance and reliability.- Apply your electrical and mechanical expertise to efficiently diagnose and fix issues in PLC systems, control systems, and various industrial components such as instrumentation, motors, and pumps.- Collaborate effectively with engineering and maintenance teams to drive equipment optimization and efficiency enhancements.- Undertake regular preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and prolong life span.- Accurately read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and P&ID for effective troubleshooting and repairs.- Deliver exemplary technical support and advice to both customers and internal teams.- Consistently adhere to stringent safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.Requirements- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.- Proven experience in electrical or mechanical roles, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, testing, repair, and commissioning of various industrial package equipment.- Solid understanding of PLC systems and control system logic.- Experience with process heating equipment is advantageous.- Proficiency in interpreting electrical wiring diagrams and P&IDs.- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.- Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a high-paced setting.- Flexibility for global travel to customer sites as required.Benefits- Attractive salary package.- Comprehensive benefits.
