- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures while verifying guest identity and payment methods.
- Assign rooms and activate or issue room keys according to hotel procedures.
- Set up accurate guest accounts and enter loyalty program details when required.
- Confirm room rates align with approved pricing and document any rate exceptions.
- Verify payment authorization before issuing room keys and adjust billing when necessary.
- Prepare daily operational logs, reports, and emergency occupancy lists.
- Complete cashier and closing reports at the end of each shift.
- Provide hotel information and directions to guests while assisting with service requests.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure guest requests are handled efficiently.
- Process payments, vouchers, refunds, and guest charges according to financial procedures.
- Count and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Follow accounting procedures including manual approvals and transaction verification.
- Report theft or security incidents to the hotel safety and loss prevention team.
- Maintain professional communication with guests and colleagues while supporting team objectives.
- Follow company policies regarding safety, quality standards, and professional conduct.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least one year of related hospitality or front desk experience.
