This role plays a key part in balancing inventory investment with operational demand by maintaining accurate stock levels, improving parts availability, and reducing aging inventory. It directly contributes to customer satisfaction, cost control, and efficient supply chain operations across automotive aftersales services.Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and set system parameters in coordination with management to ensure optimal stock availability
- Review and adjust system-generated order proposals based on demand and operational needs
- Analyse daily inventory reports and take corrective action to address shortages or excess stock
- Manage customer orders by ensuring timely processing and communication of delivery timelines
- Follow up on back orders with suppliers to ensure faster allocation and delivery
- Monitor stock aging and implement strategies to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory
- Process dead stock reports and coordinate buyback or clearance activities with suppliers
- Optimize logistics costs by selecting efficient transport options and consolidating shipments
- Manage claims processes ensuring timely submission, follow-up, and resolution
- Maintain accurate master data and update supplier pricing within systems
- Collaborate with sales, service, and supply chain teams to support operational efficiency
- Engineering diploma or degree in a technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive supply chain or inventory control roles
- Strong understanding of spare parts operations within automotive dealerships
- Experience with Syncron, Microsoft Office, and Excel; SAP ERP knowledge is an advantage
- Strong analytical and planning capabilities
- Effective communication skills in English, Arabic is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
