We are seeking a dynamic and highly qualified Business and Economics Teacher to join our top leading schools with multiple campuses in UAE. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator with a proven track record in delivering high-quality instruction in Business Studies and Economics at the secondary and/or pre-university level (e.g., IGCSE, A-Levels, IB, or equivalent). This role is critical in shaping students’ analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, preparing them for higher education and global citizenship. The teacher will be responsible for designing engaging, inquiry-based curricula, integrating real-world economic and business scenarios, and fostering a student-centred learning environment. With a mandatory active IELTS score of 6.5 or higher, the successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional communication, cultural sensitivity, and pedagogical expertise.Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive, standards-aligned lesson plans for Business Studies and Economics across key curricula (IGCSE, A-Levels, IB, or equivalent).
- Implement differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with varying academic abilities and language proficiencies.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Utilize data-driven insights to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Integrate current global economic trends, case studies, and real-world business examples into classroom instruction.
- Foster critical thinking, research, and presentation skills through project-based learning, debates, and simulations (e.g., mock stock markets, business start-ups).
- Collaborate with department colleagues to maintain curriculum coherence, share best practices, and support professional development.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, including academic reviews, student mentoring, and extracurricular activities (e.g., Model United Nations, business clubs).
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress in compliance with school policies.
- Uphold the school’s mission, values, and commitment to academic excellence and student well-being.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4–5 years of teaching experience in Business Studies and Economics at the secondary or pre-university level.
- Proven experience with one or more internationally recognized curricula (IGCSE, A-Levels, IB Diploma Programme, or AP).
- Mandatory active IELTS score of 6.5 or higher (academic module) – proof required at application stage.
- Native-level fluency in English; demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and spoken English.
- Strong understanding of pedagogical strategies, assessment design, and inclusive education practices.
- Proficiency in using digital learning platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, Moodle, LMS systems) and educational technology tools.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice.
- Eligibility to work in the UAE with valid work permit and visa sponsorship (Arab National, Western National, or Native English Speaker only).
