Electrical and Software Engineer

• Adhere to OHSE legislations, standards and the Organization Policy’s & Procedures.
• Support the preparation of electrical work packages, associated nonrecurring engineering cost, schedule planning and subcontracting for electrical systems.
• Report on the progress of development projects though the different phases of the electrical development.
• Create designs and technical solution in collaboration with team members. Review electrical designs for accuracy, manufacturability or completeness.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and report on electrical work progress.
• Implement prototypes and qualify designs by testing.
• Troubleshoot new or existing designs , products, determine root causes of failures, recommend design changes, establish processes and methods related to all aspects of the electrical systems on vehicle or subsystems level.
• Stay abreast of emerging industry trends in the field of military vehicle electrical development and technology. Advise, guide and provide oversight to other departments.
• Works within the limits of authority as defined by the line manager.

• Deliver quality designs, drawings and supporting documentation
• Adhere to committed deliverables in terms of schedule and budget
• Support lean targets, workload planning, continuous improvement drive

• Knowledge of Automotive Electrical Systems
• Knowledge of test and electrical equipment
• Knowledge of configuration and engineering processes
• Knowledge of Electrical and or Electronic automotive design
• Computer Literacy MS Office, SAP

• Experience working in multidiscipline engineering teams is required.
• Experience with vehicle electrical and electronic systems is required.
• Basic knowledge about configuration management, structured engineering processes and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of industrialization and manufacturing processes.
