And that’s where you come in.Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will have solid experience in the rail industry, managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms. This position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Accountabilities:

Ensure the monthly statement issuing, with the Project Manager,

according to the project planning * Act jointly with the Project Manager in order to achieve the approval of the PPC by the client.

Ensure the compliance of the Progress Payment certificate (PPC) with the contractual scheme
Act jointly with Administrative dept in order to process the invoices
Ensure the compliance of the Invoice with the contractual
Act with the CM during the preparation of claims and variations,
giving in return the economical evaluation of the related activities

(priced BOM) * Ensure the archiving of the above mentioned documents

Variation Management: Evaluating and negotiating changes (variations) to the original project scope.

Budgeting review and management according to the management guidelinesDesired Skills/ Knowledge

Ability to stay organized and maintain project records.
Teamwork.
Cooperative approach.
Mobility mindset.

Education/Qualifications

Engineering University Degree or Equivalent (Civil/ Electrical)
