- Assist in the production of the weekly cash book accurately and within defined timelines.
- Develop sustainable processes for new investments and investment strategies in coordination with Treasury and Custody teams.
- Verify weekly pricing of investment securities and analyze variances using independent pricing sources.
- Review trades captured by external fund administrators for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and provide input to IT teams.
- Review collateral calculations provided by loan calculation agents and confirm accuracy.
- Identify potential risks and suggest improvements to controls, performance analysis, and financial forecasts.
- Develop reporting functionalities on business intelligence software.
- Assist with the annual audit process and preparation of Internal Controls of Financial Reporting (ICOFR) certification.
- Perform other similar or related duties as required.
- Strong Academics in Business, Finance, Accounting, or similar.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in tier 1 organizations, Audit, and Accounting firms.
- Knowledge of General Asset Classes
- Candidates who have worked at Custodian banks like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Northern trust and Citco or 4 Big Firms.
- Technical certifications CA (desired).
- Highly numerate and proficient use of excel.
- Sound understanding of and experience with: principles of integrated cost and general ledger accounting system, the complete accounting cycle from raw data capture stage until the production of audited financial statements, and multi-currency accounting theory and practice.
