- Strategic Financial Planning: Directs the design and integration of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis processes to support organizational growth and operational excellence.
- Financial Controlling: Oversees the development, implementation, and ongoing review of internal financial controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation in line with IFRS and regional regulations.
- Investment & Portfolio Alignment: Partners with investment and portfolio management teams to synchronize financial planning with investment strategies, optimizing fund management and value creation.
- Analysis & Reporting: Leverages advanced financial modeling, data analytics, and ERP systems to analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinates with internal interfaces, including the CFO, CEO, Investment and Risk teams, and Technology departments, to drive effective financial decision-making. Externally, liaises with banking partners, regulatory authorities, auditors, vendors, investment counterparties, and consultants.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensures all financial practices follow international and local standards, proactively managing emerging regulatory requirements impacting the business.
- Leadership: Offers senior-level guidance during financial transformation initiatives, fostering change leadership and effective stakeholder management throughout the organization.
- Academic Excellence: Advanced degrees in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines-such as an MBA, CFA, or CPA-form the cornerstone of the candidate's expertise. Professional certifications like CFA or CPA are highly valued, reflecting a dedication to excellence through ongoing learning.
- Proven Experience: We seek experienced professionals with a minimum of 12 years in financial management, including substantial senior leadership experience. Candidates should have a strong track record in corporate finance, budgeting, risk management, and direct exposure to investment-focused organizations or financial institutions. A sophisticated understanding of regional regulatory frameworks and international standards is essential.
- Technical Mastery: Candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and ERP platforms (such as SAP). Mastery of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis-alongside deep knowledge of IFRS and current accounting standards-is crucial. A history of integrating financial planning within broader business objectives is expected.
