- Managing each tender as a standalone project, including full administrative and financial oversight.
- Coordinating internal and external multidisciplinary teams (engineering, planning, procurement, legal, finance, HSE) to develop compliant and competitive bids.
- Leading cost estimation, pricing strategy, and financial modeling in line with target margins and defined risk exposure.
- Performing contractual and commercial risk analyses, including reviewing international contract frameworks (e.g., FIDIC).
- Organizing and leading site visits, progress meetings, and coordination meetings with clients and partners.
- Managing clarifications and leading commercial and technical negotiations.
- Ensuring high-quality submissions, strict adherence to deadlines, and full alignment with corporate governance standards and internal quality procedures.
- Supporting the structured handover to project delivery teams upon contract award.
- Leveraging strong experience in African markets and effectively managing French-speaking projects and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Additional training in commercial management, contract law, or project management is an advantage.
- 8 - 12 years of experience in the construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years in bid management or tendering roles.
- Proven track record in delivering bids for infrastructure and marine projects, including ports, quay walls, dredging, coastal works, bridges, and heavy civil works.
- Demonstrated experience leading tenders across Africa and/or the Middle East.
- Strong familiarity with international contract frameworks (e.g., FIDIC) and EPC, Design-Build, and ECI contracting models.
- Experience working within - or leading - consortia, joint ventures, and multinational bid teams.
- Technical & Commercial Competencies
- Strong capability in cost estimation, pricing development, and financial modeling.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies for marine and infrastructure works.
- Advanced skills in contractual and commercial risk analysis.
- Ability to manage a tender as a full project, including planning, scheduling, documentation, and financial oversight.
- Language & Soft Skills
- Fluency in English and French is a must.
