Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific HSE plans in line with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.Advise the Project Manager and senior leadership on HSE matters and provide expert guidanceTo ensure all project sites Safety Procedures are implemented and people who are involved in the site understand to follow and obey all the Safety System control measures.Ensures that Site Safety Procedures are implemented.Give Safety advice and suggestions for whoever is involved in the project’s activities regarding Government & Local Authority HSE Regulations & Rules should be follow and obeyed.Maintain Projects Safety System Administration, Statistic and Documentation files.Facilitates risk assessment at the location to identify critical HSE hazards and aspects. Works as part of leadership team to create targets and objectives to reduce risk and environmental impact.Reports any injuries resulting from work-related activities.Investigate any site accidents and analyses the causes and make the necessary preventive actions.Coordinate with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with HSE standards and to address any concerns promptly.Organize and facilitate ongoing HSE training programs for all project personnel, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely.Lead incident investigations into all accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring thorough reporting and the implementation of preventive actions. Maintain accurate records of all incidents and follow-up on corrective actions.Monitor HSE performance through regular audits, inspections, and observations, and ensure corrective actions are taken when needed.Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE records, reports, and documentation. Prepare periodic performance reports for senior management.Lead and supervise the HSE team on the project, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of safety and environmental performance.Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in HSE practices, recommending and implementing corrective and preventive actions.Drives and promotes zero incident HSE culture throughout site.Required SkillsBachelor’s Degree5-10 years’ working experience in the country of job and roleNEBOSH IGCLevel 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and SafetyISO 45001 and 140001 Lead AuditorExperience in HSE Manager RoleConstruction IndustryClient interfacing, business and contractual awareness,Evaluation & training of workforce
