Support the Planning Manager to drive forward both organisations' key priorities for Planning through

effective management of resources and by ensuring that opportunities for improving the service aremaximized.

Develop systems and procedures for planning functions on the onset of the project and as and when there

are additional requirements from the client in order to facilitate the monitoring of construction &commissioning.

To finalize the staffing requirements of planning engineers in consultation with Manager Planning.

Develop, implement & maintain the planning deliverables viz., procedure construction schedules, resource

histogram, reporting systems, commodity data base, material controls systems, etc. Provide guidance tothe project control team working at HO/site for the project.

Prepare the detail progress measurement system for construction commodity and construction progress S

curves. This will also help in determining the resource requirement and prepare manpower histogram.

Monitoring progress of the construction work for timely execution of the project through daily/ weekly/

monthly reports with respect to review of the overall project. Progress monitoring on a regular basis andresolve any problems, bottlenecks/scheduling conflicts.

Review of the status continuously and keep the construction Manager appraised of the progress and the

areas needing attention for schedule adherence.

Provide direction to the sub-contractor planning team in formulating overall execution plan which will satisfy

the interest of overall project completion.

Close coordination/ follow up of sub-contractor in implementing the work schedule and monitor progress of

the work for timely execution of the project.

Works in close coordination with Area coordinator to ensure that the work progresses as per schedule and

follow overall project priority.

Participates in review meeting with client & sub-contractors.

Identify trends and alert management of critical activities.

Participate in department development activities for continual improvement in the planning system &

services.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the Planning Manager/ PCM of the

project.Minimum Requirements:Graduate engineer with approximately 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry conversant withprojects and execution. Experience in HO & Site planning.#LI-HS1Additional Information
