This role supports financial operations by maintaining the integrity of general ledger accounts through accurate reconciliation and timely resolution of discrepancies. It contributes to compliance, reporting accuracy, and efficient handling of issuing and acquiring financial processes.Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation and exception management activities
- Prepare and maintain GL account reconciliations accurately
- Track and clear outstanding reconciliation items within timelines
- Escalate ageing discrepancies and maintain proper documentation
- Process issuing and acquiring related financial vouchers
- Post amortization entries for prepaid expenses
- Support monthly reporting inputs and account substantiation
- Maintain audit trails and ensure adherence to internal controls
- Assist internal and external audits with accurate data and documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve reconciliation issues
- Contribute to process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
- Experience in financial operations or payment reconciliation
- Strong understanding of reconciliation principles and financial controls
- Ability to manage routine and complex tasks with accuracy
- Strong communication and coordination skills
