The Consultant Neurologist Specialist is responsible for providing expert care for patients with neurological conditions, ensuring accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and long-term disease management.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and migraines
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, EEG, EMG, and lumbar punctures
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and complex case management
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and fellows
- Engage in clinical audits, research, and continuous medical education
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and healthcare standards
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow-up care
- Medical degree with specialization in Neurology
- Board certification in Neurology from a recognized authority
- Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialization experience
- Strong expertise in neuroimaging and neurophysiological diagnostics
- Excellent clinical decision-making and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
