- Develop total package cost comparisons and recommendations for new hires, transfers and promotions at corporate and hotel General Manager level across MEA, considering internal equity, market rates, benefits costs and tax regulations.
- Support the Senior Manager in managing benefits plans, including evaluating hotel standalone insurance policies, working with external providers to resolve group medical plan escalations, reconciling monthly charges and census data, and proving guidance to operational HR teams on regional and global programmes.
- Coordinate annual merit review and bonus calculation processes for MEA hotel operations, including developing files, tracking data collection, validating entries, consolidating hotel submissions for approval, and issuing payroll communications.
- Facilitate performance management, merit review, bonus and LTI processes for MEA corporate offices, including compensation tool testing, resolving line manager queries, and creating reports to share insights with senior leaders in a user-friendly format.
- Coordinate annual salary and benefits survey submissions, working with operational HR teams to make sure accurate hotel data is submitted on time, completing data entry for corporate surveys, responding to queries from providers during data cleansing, and developing customised reports for analysis.
- Analyse benchmarking data to assess current market position and make recommendations to maintain competitive pay ranges (e.g. establishing MEA graduate programme rates)
- Collaborate with the wider team to activate Thrive at Hilton across MEA, which may involve organising in-person corporate events, partnering with external organisations on ESG initiatives, developing team member communications, or supporting global programmes such as Thrive Sabbaticals and Care for All.
- Manage day-to-day operations for the Employee Share Purchase Plan in the UAE, validating monthly contributions, working with HR and finance teams to ensure payroll deductions are processed correctly and educating Team Members on the plan.
- Assist in reviewing and communicating MEA reward guidelines and processes (e.g. flight allowances), considering regional market conditions and team member experience.
- Participate in regional and global reward and HR projects, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders as needed
- Experience in an analytical role, preferably within Compensation & Benefits or HR
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with an understanding of business mathematics and the ability to make clear and logical recommendations based on factual data
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail to ensure data integrity
- Good MS Office skills, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, charts and formulas)
- Ability to prioritise activities and work effectively with others to complete objectives, sometimes within short deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills to deliver the right message for the right audience in a user-friendly format
- Experience in working and building effective relationships in a multi-cultural environment, across countries and at all levels of the business
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work efficiently with minimal guidance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and employee compensation and benefits structures in the MEA region, e.g. accommodation allowances, medical insurance plans
- Experience working in the Middle East
