The Consultant Pediatric Oncologist BMT is responsible for delivering specialized care in pediatric oncology and hematology, overseeing bone marrow transplant procedures, and ensuring optimal treatment outcomes through multidisciplinary collaboration.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat pediatric cancers including leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors
- Perform and oversee autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplants
- Lead multidisciplinary case discussions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Supervise junior physicians and fellows in oncology and BMT protocols
- Ensure compliance with international clinical standards and hospital policies
- Participate in clinical research, trials, and continuous medical education
- Provide patient and family counseling on treatment and post-transplant care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in on-call duties and emergency coverage
- Medical degree with specialization in Pediatric Hematology or Oncology
- Board certification in Pediatric Hematology Oncology
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation
- Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience in oncology and BMT
- Eligibility for DOH licensing or equivalent authority
- Western-trained background preferred
