The role requires strong expertise in asphalt production, cost analysis, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure competitive and accurate project bids.Key ResponsibilitiesTendering & EstimationReview drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project scopePrepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for asphalt worksEstimate production costs including bitumen, aggregates, fuel, manpower, and equipmentObtain and evaluate supplier quotationsCosting & CoordinationCalculate plant production costs (per ton/m²)Estimate transportation, plant, and machinery usagePrepare cost analysis, P&L projections, and update rates based on market trendsCoordinate with operations, procurement, finance, and QA/QC teamsDocumentation & SupportPrepare quotations, pricing sheets, and tender submissionsMaintain cost databases and track bid outcomesSupport project teams with planning, variations, and costingRequirementsDiploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field3–5 years of experience in asphalt estimation/road projects (UAE preferred)Strong knowledge of asphalt production and paving operationsProficiency in MS Excel and analytical toolsAbility to interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specificationsFounded in 1978, Al Marwan is dedicated to serving customers in the construction, machinery, real estate and hospitality industries across the GCC.
