This role focuses on providing specialized neonatal intensive care, managing high-risk newborns, and supporting advanced NICU services through multidisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based practice.Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Diagnose and manage premature infants, respiratory distress, congenital abnormalities, and critical neonatal conditions
Monitor and stabilize critically ill newborns using advanced medical interventions
Interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays and laboratory investigations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Educate parents and families on neonatal care and post-discharge management
Maintain accurate and updated medical records
Stay current with advancements in neonatology and NICU practicesIdeal Profile
Medical degree with specialization in Neonatology or Pediatric Critical Care
Minimum 3 years of experience as Consultant NICU
Eligibility for DHA licensure
Strong clinical expertise in neonatal intensive care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
