The Group operates through multiple business units and subsidiaries, delivering integrated solutions supported by strong operational expertise and a well-established regional presence.Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead the financial management of our infrastructure and road construction projects. This role is critical in driving financial planning, project cost control, reporting, and compliance, while supporting both operational execution and strategic decision-making.Proven experience in large-scale road works, highways, and public-sector infrastructure projects is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key duties and responsibilities of the Finance Manager include, but are not limited to:Project Financial ManagementDevelop, monitor, and control project-specific budgets for road and infrastructure projectsTrack project costs, commitments, variations, and cost-to-complete on a real-time basisManage Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting and project cash flow projectionsEnsure accurate cost allocation for materials, labor, plant, and equipmentBudgeting & ForecastingLead annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processesPrepare detailed financial forecasts aligned with project schedules and milestonesConduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to mitigate cost overrunsContract & Payment OversightOversee payment certifications, subcontractor billing, and client invoicing, including Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs)Ensure complete and accurate financial documentation for variations, claims, and change ordersCompliance & ReportingEnsure full compliance with IFRS, internal financial policies, and industry regulationsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholdersLiaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as requiredRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMBA, CPA, or CA qualification is highly preferred5-10 years of financial management experience within infrastructure or road construction projectsStrong expertise in BOQ-based costing and public infrastructure project accountingExperience with government-funded or PPP projects is highly desirableProficiency in ERP and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage 300, or similar)Advanced Excel and financial modeling skillsIn-depth understanding of construction cost control and project accountingStrong analytical, leadership, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and tight deadlinesHigh level of accuracy, integrity, and commercial awarenessDepartment Finance Department Locations SharjahContact Talent Acquisition Supervisor - Recruitment DepartmentColleaguesAbout Al Marwan GroupFounded in 1978, Al Marwan is dedicated to serving customers in the construction, machinery, real estate and hospitality industries across the GCC.Founded in 1978 careersite--jobs--form-overlay#showFormOverlay">Apply for this jobFinance Department · SharjahFinance Manager - Infrastructure & Road ProjectsLoading application form jobs--overlay#closeOverlay">Career site
