Fashion Designer Responsibilities: • Research trends, fabrics, and inspirations for new collections. • Sketch and develop original concepts. • Create moodboard. • Select color palettes, trims, and materials. • Create tech packs and detailed specifications for sample making and production. • Create artwork and beadwork for sampling and production. • Coordinate with pattern makers, cutters, tailors and beaders • Ensure quality and consistency throughout the production process. • Work closely with production and sales teams. • Stay updated with fashion trends and consumer behavior. • Assist in creating and modifying basic patterns for RTW collections under guidance. • Participate in fittings and assist with pattern adjustments based on technical and design feedback. • Maintain organized records of patterns, beadwork materials, technical notes, and related documentation. • Assist in preparing technical sheets and specifications for production. • Create grading for production. • Update the tailors’ performance tracking board.
