Assistant Rig Electrician - ADNOC Drilling - Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Perform routine checks on assigned electrical equipment according to maintenance schedules
• Assist in minor repairs of air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, lighting equipment, derrick lights, and electric motor belts
• Inspect and maintain batteries, including topping up and testing
• Support breakdown investigations by isolating and dismantling faulty equipment
• Assist in installation of electrical and communication cables while updating relevant drawings and records
• Participate in rig mobilization and demobilization activities including safe disconnection and reconnection of electrical systems
• Provide standby support for power supply requirements during operations
• Support implementation of Health, Safety, Environmental and Asset Integrity Management programs
• Maintain electrical panels, clean lamps, and ensure proper housekeeping standards
• Contribute to KPI reporting and section progress updates for management

• Secondary education completion followed by a two-year Diploma in Electrical Technology
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial electrical equipment
• Exposure to high voltage AC/DC systems preferred
• Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and HSE compliance
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Ability to work effectively in offshore or onshore drilling environments
